Making FP7 accessible

The National Support Network for FP7 in Ireland have developed this website as a key resource for existing and potential Irish participants in the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development.

The site is organised by programme area, which are then broken down by thematic area where relevant. We have tried to make it as easy as possible to find information that will help you to access financial supports, find research partners and develop and ultimately submit proposals.

The overview section is a good place to start if you are interested in learning about the basics of FP7. This section provides information on what exactly FP7 is and how it has been structured by the European Commission.

This section also gives you an insight into how Ireland has adopted FP7 at a national level. The Irish Government are committed to reaping the maximum benefits possible for Irish industry and the research community from FP7. You can read more about the Government's objectives for FP7 in the section called FP7 in Ireland.

To inspire you to participate in FP7, we have published a number of success stories which highlight the positive impact participating in FP6 has had on a variety of companies and researchers around the country.

We hope you find the information on this site useful, and invite you to contribute by sending us your feedback, suggesting useful links or documents to
