Notes

New website lists all current opportunities for access to research facilities and infrastructure, funded under FP7.

Access to research facilities and infrastructure, also known as Transnational Access (TNA), is funded under the FP7 Research Infrastructures Programme. Networks, operating in many different domains, receive funding to bring together their facilities and to open them up to those outside of their network.

In effect, the FP7 grant facilitates the access of researchers from all over the EU to the network's facilities and infrastructure. Access is then provided free of charge to users of the facilities and is allocated on a peer-reviewed basis.

A promotional leaflet has been produced and all current access opportunities have been drawn together onto the EuroRIsNet website. The website has functionality to allow for keyword searches to browse current opportunities in your area. Please note that applications should be made directly to the Project Coordinator. For further information on this, or any other aspect of FP7, please contact the National Contact Point or visit the dedicated Research Infrastructures pages on the FP7 Ireland site.
