The Environmental Protection Agency is at the front line of environmental protection and policing. We ensure that Ireland's environment is protected, and we monitor changes in environmental trends to detect early warning signs of neglect or deterioration.

  Dr. Brian Donlon is Ireland's National Delegate for the Environment thematic area of the Coooperation Programme. He works for the Environmental Protection Agency and is based in Dublin.

  Dr. Alice Wemaere has been employed by the the Environmental Protection Agency since April 2004. She was appointed Ireland's NCP for the Environment thematic area under the Cooperation programme in June 2007.
